upon popular request..i'm finally bloggin again.
Break!
so now.. it's midterm break.. ie long weekend! it hasn't been the most eventful one went to watch pride and predjudice with rach and ren (sorry ren i know i'm freakin annoying .. i'm not actually sure why i talked so much that night). p&p was a pretty good movie although i'm not sure it deserved the 5 stars ming pao daily gave it (as my mom tells me.. i don't read chinese newspapers or any newspapers for that matter) it's funny how they made mr. bingley a redhead he's just so funny! and so weird! he definitely reminds me or ron (weasley).. his inarticulateness makes him the clown of the movie. who says classics aren't funny? well they were WRONG!
and yesterday (or was it the day before?!?!) i had an interesting convo with andrea about formal and how we have much work to do before then .. ie find a date, lose weight and get a dress hahah. it doens't matter though cuz i know it'll be damn fun.. i'm sooo excited!!! yay for dress-shopping! we should all go try on dresses at bcbg again!

haha jokes, i would never wanan be a doctor, but i can see how television really influences you. After watching hotel, i wanted to work in a hotel, not a crudy one though it has to be 5 star and gorrgeeouuss! so now as i watch healing hands, i dont' like seeing how they heal gross injuries in a&e but the relationships haha.. i wanna go to panorama and have an orange juice and tuna sandwich and sit with my friends from cardiatrics (or however u spell it) looks like fun! but sadly, i am just not cut out for med considering the fact that i'm so damn lazy... i'm too scared to take chances..what if i freaking kill the poor dude??
Me talk pretty one day
most HILARIOUS book ever!!! it's by david sedaris and is basically a collection of short stories about his life. there's a story where he talks about his years on speed and how he made conceptual art. ie he put random garbage in a crate and called it a piece and some museum bought it! haha.. then he talks about how he goes with his boyfriend (yeah he's gay) to normandy and all he can say is bottleneck and ashtray. and finally there's the story about how he's trying to learn french in paris and his teacher is really really mean so all the students in his class bond. Here's an excerpt from the book:
My only comfort was the knowledge that I was not alone. Huddled in the hallways and making the most of our pathetic French, my fellow students and I engaged int he sort of conversation commonly overheard in refugee camps. "Sometime me cry alone at night"
"That be common for I, also, but be more strong, you. Much work and someday you talk pretty. People start love you soon. Maybe tomorrow, okay."
i know it seems not as funny but when u actually read the stories, you'll laugh out loud i guarentee! cuz i know i did!
Back to school
I can't believe i hafta go back to school tomorrow.. i wish i could just graduate already. i know this is supposed to be the best year or whatever but can it be more fun please? i can't wait til xmas!
